The Future of Bioplastic in Europe

Bioplastic has several advantages to fossil-based plastic when it comes to protecting the climate and our environment. Nevertheless, prices are not competitive and scale-up happens elsewhere, not in Europe. What needs to change so that European  bioplastic can also be developed, produced and marketed here?
