National Biobank – a new platform for research success

Over the last months, the National Biobank was co-developped with an integrated ´single-point-of-access´-concept.

Formulated as a national goal in the coalition treaty, this closer collaboration among existing biobanks will provide new chances for researchers. A consortium of academic  experts and scientific organizations together with industry associations and companies co-developped the infrastructure and operationalization.

The overarching goals are to attract more projects, offer highest quality standards and state-of-the-art processes.
