EU Biotech Act: Challenges and Chances for a Sustainable and Innovative Europe

The EU Commission positively surprised the industry in spring 2024 by launching a counterpart to the US Biotech and Biomanufacturing Initiative. The EU Biotech Act is due to come in  2025. What can this act do for the industry? What should the Act encompass in order warrant that Europe stays competitive with biotechnology?
