The State Development Corporation of Thuringia (LEG Thüringen) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Free State of Thuringia. We support German and international companies in all phases of setting up business in Thuringia with comprehensive and free-of-charge services - from site selection and incentives consulting to starting operations and recruiting skilled staff.
We are also the gateway to an excellent and high-profile innovation ecosystem. We foster collaboration between companies and scientific institutions to expand, strengthen and inspire innovation in our region and beyond. By initiating and coordinating strategically important projects, we support our stakeholders, industry clusters and networks.
Core competencies of the Thuringian innovation ecosystem are “biophotonics/ bioinstruments”, “infection research/diagnostics”, “digital health”, “healthy nutrition” and “healthy ageing”.
