BioRiver - Life Science im Rheinland offers a strong network for the life science industry in Western Germany. It has been built and constantly grown by renowned industry experts, scientific excellencies and powerful stakeholders, to meet on eye level and to foster economic growth together.

Following the long tradition of innovation, experienced and successful entrepreneurs together with the industry giants Johnson&Johnson, Bayer, Qiagen, Miltenyi Biotec, LONZA and Charles River as well as with small and medium sized enterprises are engaged to make supporting start-ups BioRiver’s focal point. It is to our proud, that most of the life association’s more than 100 member organisation have their origins in the scientific institutes of the region.

People come to the “BioRiver” Rhine because of the attractive working and scientific conditions in the economic hubs of Cologne, Düsseldorf, Bonn and Aken. Later, they stay for the high quality of life in the region. And they often return and contribute to the BioRiver network for the possibility to join in and learn from the group of experienced founders and managers.
