Convenient for transit

More than 350 trains from S-Bahns (urban trains) to ICEs (Intercity Express trains), stop at Düsseldorf Flughafen (Airport) train station every day, which is located on the east side of the airport grounds. The SkyTrain, a fully automatic cabin railway, will take you straight from the terminal to the station building. Only the S-Bahn S11 stops at the Düsseldorf Airport Terminal station in the basement of the terminal building. The S11 runs from Bergisch Gladbach via Düsseldorf central station to the airport.

CO2-neutral energy system

The EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf is smart in terms of energy: a high-tech energy centre and the use of solar power and other renewable energies make the EUREF-Campus Düsseldorf a showcase project even before it goes into operation. It will be part of a network of environmentally friendly energy producers and storage facilities in the region. EUREF, Stadtwerke Düsseldorf and BLS Energieplan have drawn on local conditions and resources to develop the energy concept. The energy transition is tangible: electricity and heat are generated in an environmentally friendly way.
