25 Years After the Race for the Human Genome Project – And the Scientific Revolution Goes on
The first draft of the human genome was published 25 years ago. Given the technological capabilities at the time, this was a monumental achievement that fundamentally changed biological research and its needs for supplementary disciplines or converging technologies. In this symposium, we will look at how knowledge and technology have changed since then and what breakthroughs we can expect in the future thanks to genome research and how new policies and projects can help here.
